real refuge sangha

After my 2013 cancer diagnosis, I realized distractions and intoxicants no longer shielded me from fear and anxiety.

Skeptical but desperate, I turned to mindfulness meditation, learning to focus on what I could control and release what I couldn’t. This inward journey transformed my mind, heart, and life — and the Real Refuge Sangha was born.

What’s a Sangha?

Sangha is a Buddhist word from the Pali language for a community that practices mindfulness together. The Real Refuge Sangha meets on the last Sunday of each month both in-person and virtually. Sign up below. All donations beyond operating costs go to charity.
